I run Kampa on my own. The waitlist asks you for one thing, your email address, and this page tells you exactly what happens to it. It is short because there is not much to tell.

What I collect

Your email address, when you type it into the waitlist form and submit it. That is the only thing I ask you for. I do not ask for your name, your company, or anything else.

Your IP address, briefly. The waitlist endpoint keeps it in server memory for up to 10 minutes so that one address cannot flood the form with signups. It is never written to a database, never attached to your email address, and it is gone once the 10 minutes are up or the server restarts.

The form also has a hidden field that real people never see and never fill in. If something fills it, I drop the submission and store nothing.

Why I collect it

To email you about access to Kampa. That is the only reason. You get one email now confirming you are on the list, and one email later when it is your turn to try Kampa. There is no drip sequence and no newsletter. I do not sell your address, rent it, or share it for advertising.

The legal basis is your consent, which you gave by choosing to join the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time by asking me to remove you.

Where it is stored

Your email address sits in a contact list at Resend, the service I use to send email. The site itself runs on Vercel. Both are processors: they handle the data to provide their service to me and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

The waitlist sending runs on Resend's EU infrastructure, in Ireland (eu-west-1). Resend and Vercel are both US companies, though, so some of your data may be processed in the United States. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and both give me a data processing agreement (Resend's, Vercel's) that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer outside the EEA.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. There is nothing to accept, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a consent banner.

I use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites.

How long I keep it

Until I have contacted you about access, or until you ask me to remove you, whichever comes first. When you ask, I delete your address from the list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me to:

• give you a copy of what I hold about you
• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it
• stop using it, or object to how I use it
• send it to you in a portable format

Email hello@getkampa.com, or just reply to any email I send you. Both land in the same inbox, which is mine. I will act on it within one month, as the GDPR requires.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Mine is the Czech one, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ).

Who is responsible

Antonín Pospíšil is the controller of this data. That means I am the one who decides what happens to it, and I am the one accountable for it.

I am a sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic, IČO 73795593. I do not publish a postal address, so email is the way to reach me: hello@getkampa.com.

Changes to this page

If any of this changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
